Nothing Smart about Liberalism 5-12-11 To the Editor, I think I pushed some Liberals' hot buttons when I recently questioned Barack Obama's intelligence. How do you like it? Every Republican President or candidate with even a hint Conservative thought has had their intelligence ruthlessly attacked by Liberals. I think you guys ought to start getting used to it. Not only do I think Liberals "...know so much that just isn't so" as Reagan so diplomatically put it, but I often question their sanity as well. Long before Michael Savage (with a PH.D. and 2 Masters Degrees) came out with his bestseller: "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder", I began pondering that very idea myself. I think for many Liberals, such is the case. Einstein defined insanity as: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." How else could they be so wrong so often and then turn around and propose the same non-solutions, decade after decade, generation after generation? But it would not be wise to suggest that all Liberal lawmakers are insane. I'm sure many know exactly what they are doing. How is it that the results of laws produced by Liberals end up being the opposite of their stated intentions? Many Conservatives are of the mind that the stated intentions are cover (lies) to obscure their true agenda. What about Liberal followers? Could they have been brainwashed in their youth? I think for some, the answer is also yes. There is ample evidence to draw a scientifically based conclusion that Liberal leaders target youthful voters for indoctrination because they are a clean slate without any knowledge of Liberalism's (a.k.a. Socialism, Marxism, Progressivism et al) prior failures. That's the reason they are so afraid of school choice. Then there are those eternally dependent Liberals who need to keep their providers in power. If Liberal solutions ever worked, these people would no longer be dependent, no longer need to vote for their old meal ticket and cease being Liberal. The big problem for Liberals today is that there is a new media out there that exposes the truth about them. It doesn't matter that the old mainstream media ignores the glaring inconsistencies in the Liberal agenda because their credibility is steadily diminishing. Time is on our side - yes it is.
